The Bright Futures Fund is an independent 501(c)3 corporation within the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. Building on a 30+ year history, the Bright Futures Fund provides a Catholic education for children at three schools in Kansas City's urban core: Our Lady of Hope, Holy Cross and Our Lady's Montessori.
Unlike other diocesan schools, the three Bright Futures Fund schools operate independently of a parish and depend exclusively on private donations.
100% of donations go directly to offset the cost of educating every child who walks through the doors of a Bright Futures Fund school.

MOSCHOLARS PROGRAM
In 2022, the Bright Futures Fund became the facilitator of the MOScholars program in our diocese. It serves as the Educational Assistance Organization (EAO) to process applications from families that are interested in a scholarship to Catholic school. The program also supports the opportunity for individuals and businesses to reserve tax credits that fund the MOScholars Program. MOScholars uses tax credits to provide scholarships to individual families who qualify and may choose to send their children to any Catholic school in the diocese. To learn more about the MOScholars Program, including tax credits and scholarships, click HERE or go to the MOScholars Program tab.
