The Bright Futures Fund is an independent 501(c)3 corporation within the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. Building on a 30+ year history, the Bright Futures Fund provides a Catholic education for children at the three legacy schools in Kansas City's urban core: Our Lady of Hope, Holy Cross and Our Lady's Montessori.
The Bright Futures Fund relies on philanthropic donations to underwrite operating costs and subsidize tuition for our students attending these legacy schools. One hundred percent of donations go directly to education. All administrative costs are underwritten by the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.

MOSCHOLARS PROGRAM
In 2021, the Bright Futures Fund was designated by the Missouri State Treasurer's Office as an Educational Assistance Organization (EAO) for the MOScholars Program. This designation enables the Bright Futures Fund to provide Catholic school scholarships to families who qualify. These scholarships are funded by tax credits. There are 31 eligible schools in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
