What We Do

MISSION:  The Bright Futures Fund works to build new foundations of education and faith by helping students in need receive a Catholic education.

VISION:  Every child is able to attend Catholic school without financial barriers.

The Bright Futures Fund strives to challenge and encourage students in Kansas City to discover their full potential while developing a personal relationship with Christ. We do so in three ways:
  1. Supporting the operating costs of the two legacy Bright Futures Schools and subsidizing tuition for students within the schools.
  2. Honoring Family Scholarships and the Richard and Olivia Mock Scholarship Program provide assistance for families who wish to continue with Catholic education for their children at select Catholic high schools.
  3. We are an Educational Assistance Organization (EAO) with the State of Missouri, serving Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph with the MOScholars Program. 

Through these programs, we aim to develop a foundation of social justice within every student and build communities where families can feel safe and welcome, regardless of economic or immigration status.

The Bright Futures Fund is an independent 501(c)3 corporation, with 100% of donations going directly to students.  All administrative costs are underwritten by the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
